Is raising tax something we need now??

Sinzo Abe officially announced that higher sales tax will be carried out from next April. I wonder this is really a good decision for Japanese economy and citizens.

The prime minister claimed that with implementing the policy the economy will be accelerated for many reasons. First of all, it might save our huge debut by collecting money from the public as sales tax. It may seem true, but isn’t it too simple? I’m pretty sure that it makes people less active so that the total consumption will decrease dramatically. that’s not what they want, for sure.

Even though he mentioned something about some economy plans for the unexpected outcome, not only I but others think that why they go so much trouble in the first place.

For more, I throw doubt on the issue of financial deficit. It's not my field to talk about, so I won't go farther. But is it a real problem here?? I've read some articles that say it is pretty normal to be the red in capital society. Look at the U.S., they even have a huge debut as well. As far as I understand, as long as the nation has a way of earning money, there is no problem of having financial deficit. that's how it works in the capitalized society.

Anyway, we'll see what's going to happen from now on.

A little difference make a big change

A little difference make a big change

Who knows what changes what. Colors are used to make products more attractive to customers. When you go to Doller Shops, you can see it. It could be anything.

I went out to a market in this morning with my friends, and stopped by an art exhibition by chance.
it was a collection of garbages. I don't have appreciation for arts. However, I found it very interesting. Even though those used items are just trash, somehow, they looked like an art. What made them something valuable is degin: how they were organised or presented.

I've come to realise that I should pay more attention to designing in daily life.

Reconsideration

As I told you, I’ve been suffering from finding a job here in Sydney since I came here. Due to my visa condition, it’ hasn’t been easy to do so at all, however, things are looking up. I finally managed to find a job, I got two jobs to be precise.
After a long string of bad luck, I finally got a lucky break. How did this miracle happen? After all, it is connections that helps you out with finding out a good job.

The other day, I told my teacher how miserable my life had been in Sydney. He took pity on me, then introduced me to his friend who owns a restaurant. I went for a job interview there in no time, though, the prospect wasn’t good, so I changed to a strategy of asking my classmate whether or not, I could take over his post, since he was leaving in a coulpe of weeks for his country.

I couldn’t get any answer from both jobs for a while, however, a few week later all of sudden my phone rang. The both offered me  twice as much money as I get from my current job. I was determined to take the two jobs, considering all the effort put into and I couldn’t be merrier!

This is not the end of a story. I had been pretty excited to go on to work there until my flatmate told me she got much better job than me.  I got the sense of jealousy towards her and what comes to mind was a thought that I could have found a better job than her. As the old saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side.

I had evaluated myself, the good thing about me was that I’m not the kind of person who is easily satisfied with themselves, even thought of complacency as my enemy. But this time, however, I had to re-evaluate myself.  What I had learned from this lesson was that it’s ok to compromise in life. I can’t expect to be better all the time. I should count myself lucky to find a job, and more than anything, I don’t want to go through hard time again!!

The best way to improve a second language

The best way to improve a second language

What come to mind when you are asked about the best way of boosting the speed of learning your second language? Each person has their own way to study. However, in my experience, it is to speak it as often as possible that is the most effective learning method.

Well, you might think it is too simple and nothing special. My answer is “Yes, it is, but it works better than you think.” Despite the fact that many people consider it as the best way of improving their language skills, there are few language learners who are not taking it seriously. I think this is because there are many awkward moments when committing themselves to do so.

For over 3 weeks, I didn’t speak Japanese at all, but English. I have started my only-English-rule in order to prepare myseld for a speaking exam. Since then, i’ve been speaking English all the time, even when the Japanese talk to me in Japanese, I respond to it in English. I made us both feel uncomfortable, rather they saw me as a strange guy. It was, however, only for the beginning. Once I got used to it, there were no obstacles any more.

the outcomes came to me all of sudden. My English teacher praised me for quick progress in my English. I was really rewarding. I regret not having started it much earlier, or should I count myself lucky for realizing the best method of learning?
